Why the agency logo keeps showing through
Most sub-account logo snippets hide the img tag and set a background image on the logo container. That works until the agency logo reappears on top of the new one.
The cause is that GoHighLevel paints the white-label logo on a ::before or ::after pseudo-element of the same container. A pseudo-element always draws above its parent's background, so the custom logo ends up underneath. Snippets that only hide the pseudo-element inside .sidebar-v2-location also miss the other sidebar layouts, such as the collapsed sidebar and the mobile header.
The code this tool generates removes the image, both pseudo-elements and any background they carry, for the one location you enter, on every sidebar layout. Nothing changes for your other sub-accounts or the agency view.
Questions
Will this change the logo in my other sub-accounts?
No. Every rule is scoped to the location ID you enter, so other sub-accounts and the agency view keep their current logo.
The logo didn't change. What should I check?
Make sure the location ID matches the address bar exactly, capitals included. Open the logo link in a private window; if it doesn't load there, it won't load for your clients either. Finally, check the block was pasted after the last closing brace, not inside another rule.
What size should the logo image be?
Use a wide, transparent image about two to three times the height you choose here, so it stays sharp on high-resolution screens. Square logos work but tend to look small in the sidebar.
How do I remove a custom logo later?
Delete that sub-account's block from your agency Custom CSS and save. The default logo returns after a refresh.
Will this keep working after GoHighLevel updates?
It targets the logo container classes GoHighLevel currently uses. If a platform update renames them, the logo will fall back to the default rather than break the page, and the selectors will need updating.
